Description

Crisp hot cabbage pakora! Perfect snack on a rainy day or a side-dish with Khichdi!

Ingredients

  1. In a big bowl add the chick pea flour, rice flour, curry leaves, coriander leaves, chopped green chillies, approximately half a teaspoon of salt and mix evenly
  2. Add onions and add cabbage. Mix thoroughly
  3. Add a little water so the flour gets sticky and let this rest for 5 min
  4. Take enough oil to deep fry the pakodas
  5. Set the heat to medium/high
  6. Test if the oil is ready for frying with a little dough.
  7. Taste this and add more salt to the dough if you need to
  8. Fry till the Pakora looks golden brown and feels crisp. This should take 5 to 6 minutes
  9. Place them on a paper towel to get rid of excess oil
  10. Sprinkle with some chaat masala before serving
