  1. Add mustard oil to a pot set on medium heat
  2. Add Kala jeera or kalonji, turmeric powder, slit green chillies and salt
  3. Give it a quick stir
  4. Add potatoes 
  5. Stir fry the potatoes for 5 min
  6. Add water
  7. Place a lid on and let the potatoes cook through
  8. Enjoy with Luchi or porotha
