How to make a healthy breakfast-Indian Oats Omlette/Chilla

Description

This breakfast recipe is my goto recipe when I want to make something quick and healthy! Just combine oatmeal with eggs and lots of veggies, some aromatic Indian spices, make a pancake and done! Get proteins, carbs, fiber, vitamins and minerals, all from one quick recipe.

Ingredients

    Oatmeal prep

  • Veggies (use any veggies of your choice)

Instructions

  1. Take oats in a bowl and add water to it. Give it a mix and soak for 15 min until it gets softened
  2. Add one egg and mix with the oats
  3. Make a coarse paste of all the veggies using a grinder jar
  4. Add the coarse veggie paste to the oats, along with cumin seeds
  5. Mix well
  6. Set a non-stick pan on medium heat and grease with oil
  7. Add 1/2 the oat mix (or less) on the pan and press down with a spoon to form a circular shape. (~1/2 cm thick)
  8. Cook on both side for ~5-7 min or until the pancake turns golden brown in color
  9. Enjoy as it is or with some hot sauce of your choice!
