This is a healthy chaat recipe made with lettuce leaves and a tangy salad, topped with sev!



  1. I like using Romaine hearts for this recipe because it is crunchy, slightly sweet, and it has a nice deep boat shape that holds a lot of filling.
  2. For the salad we are going to combine chopped tomatoes, chopped cucumbers and chopped onion.
  3. For some green chutney flavors, add in one tablespoon each of chopped mint and chopped coriander
  4. Next add cumin powder, chaat masala, red chili powder and black salt or kala namak
  5. For the flavors of the tamarind chutney, add in some tamarind concentrate (~half a teaspoon) and add one teaspoon of honey
  6. Fill the lettuce cups with the salad and cover with Bhel Puri Sev
