Description

Traditionally this is sun dried and takes days to make, here I am sharing an instant version of Chunda that has the same amazing zingy flavor!

Instructions

  1. Dry roast cumin seeds till they turn dark brown and aromatic
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients
  3. Stir fry till the sugar reaches 1 string consistency. This should take 8-10 min
  4. Let it cool down completely
  5. Store in dry air-tight container

Notes

  • This delicious pickle keeps well for months at room temperature. Just make sure to store it in a dry place. If you live in a place where the climate is humid, it may be best to store it in the refrigerator.
  • This pickle tastes great with Roti, Chapati, Khichdi, Thepla, Dosa or Idli
