- I like using Romaine hearts for this recipe because it is crunchy, slightly sweet, and it has a nice deep boat shape that holds a lot of filling.
- For the salad we are going to combine chopped tomatoes, chopped cucumbers and chopped onion.
- For some green chutney flavors, add in one tablespoon each of chopped mint and chopped coriander
- Next add cumin powder, chaat masala, red chili powder and black salt or kala namak
- For the flavors of the tamarind chutney, add in some tamarind concentrate (~half a teaspoon) and add one teaspoon of honey
- Fill the lettuce cups with the salad and cover with Bhel Puri Sev
