Description

This is a instant healthy breakfast recipe. Soft rava uttapam with spinach leaves and topped with cheese!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Combine Rava, half cup water, spinach leaves and a sprinkle of salt in a bowl and let stand for 15 min
  2. Add water little bit at a time to make an Idli batter consistency (should take approximately another 1/2 cup of water)
  3. Add soy sauce, pepper and garlic powder. You can also used crushed garlic instead
  4. Set a cast iron or non stick pan on medium heat and smear some butter  
  5. Pour 3 tbsp. of the batter and form into a ~5 inch circle
  6. Cook till golden brown on both sides (~4 min per side)
  7. Turn off the heat and spread cheese and red chilli flakes on top of the Uttapam
  8. Cover with a lid for 1 min or until the cheese melts
