Cabbage Pakoda
Description
Crisp hot cabbage pakora! Perfect snack on a rainy day or a side-dish with Khichdi!
Ingredients
Instructions
- In a big bowl add the chick pea flour, rice flour, curry leaves, coriander leaves, chopped green chillies, approximately half a teaspoon of salt and mix evenly
- Add onions and add cabbage. Mix thoroughly
- Add a little water so the flour gets sticky and let this rest for 5 min
- Take enough oil to deep fry the pakodas
- Set the heat to medium/high
- Test if the oil is ready for frying with a little dough.
- Taste this and add more salt to the dough if you need to
- Fry till the Pakora looks golden brown and feels crisp. This should take 5 to 6 minutes
- Place them on a paper towel to get rid of excess oil
- Sprinkle with some chaat masala before serving
