How to make Cucumber yogurt curry
Description
This cucumber yogurt curry is an easy and tasty recipe. You can make this with ivy gourd or snake gourd as well. Pairs well with rice or roti or paratha.

- Cut cucumber in small pieces (discard the ends of the cucumber)
- Crush ginger and green chillies in a mortar and pestle
- Set a pan on medium heat and add oil
- Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, dried red chillies, curry leaves, Hing or asafoetida
- Once the seeds start to splutter add the ginger/green chilli paste
- Give it a quick stir
- Add cucumber and salt to taste
- Place the lid on till the cucumber softens slightly (~5 to 10 min)
- Turn off the heat and let the cucumber cool down
- Add yogurt, chopped onion, black pepper powder, coriander leaves and some salt and lime juice (to taste)
- Have this with rice or roti
